Reclaimed Wood

New Hardwood

Exotic Hardwoods

Riverbend mills the finest long length wide plank flooring available. We start with exceptional raw material, maintain strict moisture control, and finish with an exacting milling process. Our attention to detail throughout production and team of experienced professionals sets us apart to make every order customized for your needs.

All solid flooring – both new and reclaimed – material we mill is solid (unfinished) 3/4″ thick, tongue and groove with back relief cuts unless otherwise specified. If a smooth face is not desired, we also offer Hit or Miss or Original Face on many of our products, and can also often include a micro-bevel, v-groove, or other profile.

RECLAIMED WIDE PLANK FLOORING. At Riverbend, we abide by a strict standard of quality for all of our reclaimed products. We know that this attention to detail starts with choosing the best material, which is why, with the exception of Heart Pine, we source all of our reclaimed material from barn siding, and not from beams; This is because barn siding yields much more character and patina than re-sawn beams. Our reclaimed lumber is generally sourced from old barns and factories in the United States which are being dismantled or remodeled.

All of this material celebrates a rich part of American History, and often includes characteristics such as: Nail holes, insect borings, dents and dings, and stains which speak of the past.

NEW DOMESTIC WIDE PLANK FLOORING. Riverbend offers the finest hand selected, wide plank flooring available. Each order is hand selected for appearance and milled to exact specifications; from species, cut (plain sawn, quarter sawn, rift sawn), grade & width(s).

Some of the species we offer include: Ash, Birch, Cherry, Hickory, Maple, Red Oak, Walnut, White Oak

EXOTICS. Riverbend sources lumber for flooring from Asia, Africa, South America, and Australia for some of the most beautiful exotic flooring choices available today. These exotic woods are beautiful and rich, with colors ranging from deep chocolate brown to deep maroon. Unlike most North American species, exotics are much denser, making them the most durable floors available. At Riverbend we will only purchase logs that have been sustainably and legally harvested.

Some of the species we offer include: Australian Cypress, Brazilian Cherry (Jatoba), Ipe (Brazilian Walnut), Cumaru (Brazilian Teak), Sapele (African Mahogany), Wenge
